Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome at Splash. They must be kept under control by owners at all times. If owners are entering the water, dogs should be kept on leads.
Dogs are welcome to enjoy the water too, entering from the inland beach area. It is the owners responsibility to clean up all waste after the dogs.

Are spectators welcome?
Yes, spectators are welcome and can watch on from the picnic tables by the side of the lake. Once the Splash Main Hub facility is completed, they will be able to view from the raised balcony.

Can I visit the water park and pay on arrival?
Yes, we have a check in area at the water park where customers can pay on arrival with cash. Please note if we are fully booked we can’t accept bookings on arrival. Please call to check the water park is open. We therefore strongly advise you book online or call customer services on 02886748881, who would need to take full payment over the phone to guarantee the booking.

Can I cancel my booking?
Bookings are non-refundable. However, if you give us at least 48 hours’ advance notice we could transfer the booking to another available date. Under special circumstances activity payments may be credited in the form of Gift Vouchers provided more than 48 hours’ advance notice is given.
Participant numbers can be decreased at least 48 hours before activity. Within 48 hours £10 per person will be charged. (This excludes all events)
If we require to cancel due to inappropriate weather conditions, we will reschedule bookings to an alternative date or offer a Gift Voucher to the value of original booking valid for 6 months. Please note that refunds are not available.

Are there any changing rooms?
Yes, we have changing rooms on site. We have individual changing cubicles.

Is there a car park?
Yes, parking is onsite.

Where can I store my possessions?
Possessions must be stored in your vehicle or bags. We do not currently have lockers on site. Our staff will be able to look after anything valuable, if you ask nicely!

Can you go on the water park for longer than an hour?
Yes, you can, you just need to add an hour onto your booking, and make us aware on arrival you have more than 1 hour booked. Please note it is quite tiring and normally 1 hour is enough for the average person.

Are there fish in the water?
Yes, there are fish in the water.

What happens if i am late or stuck in traffic?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will get onto the park if you miss your session. We will however, try our best to help you get onto another session, but we cannot be held responsible for traffic. There are no refunds given if you miss your session. Leave plenty of time for your journey.

Can I leave before the hour is up?
Yes, you can leave before the hour is up, however you cannot return to the water park once you have left.

What happens if there is a storm?
If we have a storm over head, then we will pause and resume once the storm has passed. Then your time will continue as normal. This does mean we may have to delay later sessions if this does occur.

What happens if its raining?
You still take part in the rain. (you’re going to get wet anyway) It is good fun in the rain. We have wetsuits available for those wishing to get one on arrival.

Can I wear clothing?
The only clothing you are allowed to wear is tight clothing, for example leggings, shorts, tight fitting t-shirts or vest tops etc. Unfortunately, we cannot accept anybody wearing loose clothing.

Is the water park fun for adults as well as children?
Yes, the water park is fun and challenging to both adults and children. There are parts of the park that the adults may struggle with, and other parts the children may struggle with, but it is great fun for everyone. Kids must be aged 6+ and over 110cm in height.

Is the water park suitable for toddlers?
No. For health & safety reasons and for the enjoyment of other customers on the water park, children under the age of 6 cannot get into the water or play on the inflatables.

Do adults have to go with children?
All participants under 12’s will be required to have a responsible adult on with them, with a 1:3 ratio. We do recommend that adults accompany any children under the age of 16, however it isn't a rule.

Can I dress up?
Unfortunately, you cannot wear any loose clothing on the waterpark, therefore we do not allow any fancy dress of any sort on the park.

Can I wear swimming goggles?
Yes, you can wear swimming goggles.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes, we don't mind you bringing your own food and drinks. However, we do have an onsite restaurant, Top Deck, on the top floor of the main pavilion building, which serves artisan pizzas, burgers, hotdogs, fried chicken, dirty fries and sides. It is open anytime the AquaPark is open. We also have a small lakeside snack hut, The Sipway, where you can get Tea, Coffee, Cold Drinks, Snacks and Confectionery.

Is there food and drink available on site?

Do I have to be physically fit to take part?
You do have to be able to pull yourself up out of the water, and it can be very tiring. You don’t have to be very fit to take part; however, it is a challenging activity and a reasonable level of fitness will enable the maximum enjoyment.

Can I wear my spectacles?
It is strongly advised not to wear your spectacles on the water park, prescription goggles are a good alternative.

Can I take a waterproof camera onto the water park?
We will permit chest harness cameras to be worn on the water park. Please let the lifeguards know you are doing this during your safety brief.

Do I need to remove all jewellery?
Yes, all jewellery must be removed before you enter the park, including all removable earrings. If you have recently had any piercings we can provide tape to cover them.

Can I participate if I am pregnant?
You should not use the aqua park if you are pregnant.

Do I have to wear a wetsuit?
Yes it is compulsory to wear a wetsuit, if you have your own wetsuit you are welcome to bring it along, otherwise we can supply them onsite (included in cost of booking).

How long prior to the session do I need to arrive?
We recommend arriving 30 minutes before your session to ensure you are changed and ready for your activity. Briefing starts 10 minutes before you ‘jump in’

Can I wear shoes?
No, you cannot wear wetsuit boots, shoes or trainers on the water park as they may damage the park. You can wear cotton socks, aqua socks or wetsuit socks.

Do I have to be able to swim?
Yes, you must be able to swim 25m with a buoyancy aid on, and be confident in the water. It is very likely for you to go under water. You also have to swim to the water park to gain access.

Exclusions
You may not use the aqua park if you are pregnant, have a heart condition or have a pre-existing injury particularly joints or dislocations.
